A Family of Test Frameworks
IQ EXAM offers several IQ assessments, each modelled on a different widely-recognised intelligence-testing framework. The Stanford-Binet variant references the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale; the Mensa-style variant is built around matrix-reasoning items in the tradition of progressive-matrices tests; the WAIS-style variant references the Wechsler four-index structure; the CHC variant references Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory of cognitive abilities. We are not affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by the authors or institutions associated with any of these frameworks. The methodologies are referenced as established cognitive-science conventions.
Our IQ scoring presents results on the familiar 100-point scale (mean 100, standard deviation 15) used by widely recognised intelligence tests. Each item is mapped to a cognitive domain: pattern recognition, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, spatial ability, and working memory.

What IQ EXAM Is and Isn't
IQ EXAM is a consumer cognitive-assessment platform for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a clinical diagnostic instrument. Our results do not replace assessment by a licensed psychologist. We do not claim partnerships with universities, research institutions, or any third-party academic body. We do not publish peer-reviewed research and do not represent ourselves as a research organisation.
The methodologies we reference (Stanford-Binet scale, n-back task, Stroop effect, dual-task paradigms) are well-established in the public-domain cognitive-science literature. We adapt these frameworks into accessible online tests and clearly label our results as informal cognitive scores rather than clinical assessments.
